crash diet -- my personal experience

badan me jenis yg senang gain weight--so time bujang dulu me selalu gak diet2 ni..
kdg2 sampai tahap crash diet jugak tau..yalah, time solo kalau bdn bulat me rasa tak menarik and risau takut tak de plak saper2 nak kawin dgn me :p

ada one point of time, me pernah gak crash diet ni..
apa benda crash diet tu? diet yg extreme lah, like mkn sgt sikit or tak mkn langsung dgn tujuan utk lose wieight dgn cepat...memang seksa and jd lembik/letih sbb tak cukup makanan kan...
tp memang akan lose weight dgn cepat, which is not good for body system..sbb lose weight secara drastic kan..and possibility yg sgt tinggi utk gain balik weight tu the moment kita start makan mcm biasa

at last, me lose weight secara selamat bila me join aerobic--mkn tak control sgt, tp tiap2 mlm me pegi aerobic 1-2 jam!! memang berkesan sbb burn fat dgn jayanya--tu citer me time bujang lah

alkisahnya, me buat entry ni for 2 reasons:

first reason, last few days, me terbaca kat metro newspaper (paper free kat UK ni), ada soraong pompuan mati sbb crash diet!! so scary...sbb bdn jd kuang pottasium kalau ikut kata forensic lah..

Slimmer could have been killed by crash dieting, inquest hears

A slimmer collapsed and died at work after losing 9kg (20lb) on a crash diet in an effort to look good on holiday, an inquest heard on Thursday.

Lucy Prince replaced meals with slimming shakes and exercised heavily to try to shed the pounds.
But her heart stopped and she collapsed in front of her manager at work. She was taken to hospital but never regained consciousness.

Her level of potassium, which is needed to keep the heart beating regularly and to regulate blood pressure, was ‘dangerously low’, tests showed.

In May this year, Miss Prince weighed 103kg (16st 2lb) and when she died at the beginning of June she weighed 94kg (14st 8lb).

She was talking to her manager at work at Toyota’s plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire, when she collapsed.

second reason, masa me buat entry psl me jumpa wardina last few years (this entry), me ada sebut that wardina memang amalkan crash diet utk lose weight lps deliver baby--dia yg ckp gitu..so ada komen dari kak yong kalau tak silap, suruh share more details psl crash diet wardina tu.. yg me ingat, wardina kata dia tak mkn langsung nasi for few months!!! dia mkn sayur steam, fruits and protein ajer like ayam bakar tanpa lemak/kulit, or ikan panggang, tp memang strictly no nasi or no carbo!!!

uolls ada ker yg weight conscious  like me?

  3. erm..ifa pernah buat..xingt bpe lama xmkn nasi..buat mmg lama la..pastu turun joging lg everyday...haha..serius mmg kurus sis!masa stdy ifa wat..sebab ifa mmg chubby gle!but know x dah..ifa dh strt mkn nasi..sbb kena marah!haha..but ifa dah xleh mkn byk2..xmampu dh..haha..skrg berat maintain je la..berat yg ifa dpt after ifa kurus la..lebih kurang 6kg la hilang..now maintain je takat tue hihi..tp pelik when my kazen2 ckp ifa makin kurus..haha..but i still nk kurangkan dalam 4kg lagi nie..haha..baru cantik..=p

  4. i mmg weight kena concious sbb im underweight.tapi kalau dapat naik 2-3kg tu dah happy sgt!
    morale of the story, mkn je apa yg bole.bukan makan selagi kita bole yeaa....

  5. kita mmg tgh dlm diet program..maintain sdiri la..hehe..actually mmg kena ade kbowledge utk lose weight ecara sihat..agr ia kekal dan xrosakkan body system..ape yg penting ..control je calories intake n avoid cholesterol..amik yg sihat2 jek..tp make sure jgn ptong abis carbo...bcoz our body needs carbo as well..as long as calories intake not exceed required number...settle..mmg quit slow utk lose weight but it maintain n health..

  6. Kena tekad untuk turunkan berat badan. Mas pun dalam proses nak setting otak nie supaya buat2 tak lalu tengok makanan sedap... huhuhu

  7. sblm kawen senang, nak jogging nak aerobik byk masa (saya la hantu jogging dulu kalo nak tahu). dah ada suami, x kan nak lps kerja nak g joging plak, utamakan balik masak dsb nya. dah ada anak ni and duk UK ni, lg la jgn hrp nak jogging, dgn sejuk nya, apa nya...

    masa single, mkn sayur2 je pon x de hal, dah ada suami, x kan hari2 nak mkn sayur rebus je? buat hangin laki je. so kalo dah masak 2,3 lauk pauk (konon utk dia), x de daya menengok aje, mkn la jg. bertambah2 plak tu kdg kalah cik husband! mcm mana nak kurus kak suzie? huhu...

  8. tp nasib baik cik abe x kisah, (lg suka ada yg chubby2, kata dia ler)hehe... asal dia happy dgn penampilan kita, cukup lah :)

  9. read about hyperthyroidism...pesakitnye mcm me, memang takkan gain weight :)..dek kerana metabolisma yg sgt tinggi :)...syukurlah dapat gak preggie & so far tak ada tanda2 E-ein pun ade hyperthyroidism :)

  11. zety plak jenis sng naik dan sng turun berat..tp skg nih bab nk turun tu mmg liat,melainkan pose sebulan ke,turunlah sket,heheh

  13. huhuhu..stkt ni tak pernah lagi diet without nasi..diet pon tak pernah..hahaha..yang bagusnya, kuantiti nasi tu dikurangkan..bekpes kena amik..makan malam awl..kalo terasa lapor in between meals, makanlah buah..

  16. hmmm....mmg risau berat bdn bila dh naik...penah naik kejap dulu, terus jogging ptg2...sesalng seminggu baru tau, rupanya badan ada "isi", tu naik tu...penangan si adam nk join the family :)

    tp xpenah crash diet lg...n xmampu lg setakat ni, sbb mmg xtahan lapar, emi kan ada gastrik...so xpenah lg diet2, sbb bila kena gastrik sure akan pening2 n jadi migrain lak..heheh....mkn je sll, kerap, tp jgn tlalu byk...

    oowhh, itu namanya crash diet..
    kakyong tak leh la.. sbb kakyong ni jenis kena makan sikit2 & kerap2.. cuba nak kurangkan makan nasi.. tp sbb kakyong ade darah rendah plus dah lama x amik spirulina & oth supplement (due to economoney).. so menten je la makan kerap2.. sbb kalo perut masuk angin.. apa pun tak leh nak buat.. bila rasa pitam mari.. lagi la susah sendiri...

    tp best kalo dpt join kelas aerobik.. bdn rasa segar.. kwn pun dpt..
