I had to bring my lil Ariff to emergency dept

my lil ariff got a high fever since Friday morning...his body temperature was pretty high ..38-40 C...i had been giving him PCM (paracetamol- both suppository and syrup)..but the fever kept recurring after every 6 hours...it worries me a lot
...Sat nite, the temperatre reached 40.2, so at 10 pm lepas hubby balik keje, me decided to bring our lil ariff  to A&E dept (Accident & Emergency Dept) Queens Medical Centre (QMC), kalau kat Msia, QMC ni mcm HUSM or HUKM lah..

1st time me jejak kaki kat emergency dept..registration was prompt...it is quite a relief to know that QMC has 2 separate unit ie one for adult and one for child/kids. coz kat adult area, ramai jugak patients tgh tunggu turn.
after registration, kena wait for screening process (1st round check-up) by nurse..which is also quickly done ie the nurse took the temperature and gave Nurofene to lower the temperature.

child waiting area is cozy, lively, colourful and full of toys!! my lil Ariff though ill was excited and occupied with all the toys - drawing, lego and mcm2 toys..

then, it was a long waiting for us...apparently to test whether the medicine (Nurofen) given to ariff is effective or not..

12.30 am baru dpt jumpa doctor..docs kat QMC semua pakai vest grey kaler (kalau kat Msia kaler putih kan..)
doctor sgt baik, nurse masa screening test tu pun baik (except ada one nurse yg handle 2nd screening yg nampak agak strict & kurang friendly)..

oh yer, kat waiting area ada free plain water, and some fruit juices (kat area pantry)..me sgt haus, so best sgt dpt minum cold plain water..

ariff dpt 2 jenis ubat ie Nurofen & PCM..dpt free jer sbb me & family under NHS (mcm subsidi lah kalau kat Msia)

balik umah, dh pukul 1 pagi..still, demam ariff mcm tu jugak, after 6 hours, demam, then ok, then demam lg..masa i tulis entry ni (Monday eve)..ariff is getting better..hopefully anak mama ni dh tak demam lagi yer syg ...
